Here are some projects I've done. Hover your mouse over the My Projects button at the left. Obviously, there's a bit more to it than what you see. A lot of planning, work, and trips to Lowe's and Home Depot. I learned much from my endeavors and suggest that if you've got a "special" project in mind, find out what it would take for you to do it.

The banister project was a favorite of mine because I had not done anything like it before. I had to buy some special tools, figure angles, and at times be very brave and cut the "good" stuff. Yeah, I cut many sample pieces before cutting the actual pieces. The banister was also the first big project that I tackled upon retiring.

If my wife hadn't come up with the idea to put in a closet above our stairway, the master bath project probably wouldn't have ever gotten going. By freeing up space from eliminating the small walk-in closet we had, it enabled the room to accommodate the Jacuzzi bathtub that we put in. I did call a plumber in to move the pipes in the floor and walls. Also a professional put in the "mud floor" for the shower. All other work was completed by me. That project took almost a year to complete. And of course, there's always the MG to fool around with. Check it out.
